Starbucks has committed to cutting waste by 50% by 2030—a mission the brand takes seriously.
The sustainability journey began in 2020 with the Circular Cup, which upcycled single-use cups and recycled plastics into durable, everyday reusable cups.
Building on that success, Starbucks launched the Reusable Coffee Grounds Cup in 2023. This cup is made from 70% recycled plastic and 20% used Starbucks coffee grounds, giving yesterday’s coffee a second life in a practical, eco-friendly cup.
