DM.Recordings reaches a milestone with its 195th release, ARKITECT, a striking new EP from long-time collaborator Zakente. The three-track project reaffirms the producer’s position as a forward-thinking force in Afro House, seamlessly merging heritage-driven rhythms with modern electronic innovation.
The journey opens with “Rock the Roll,” a raw and energetic introduction where analog instruments collide with deep electronic textures. Designed to reflect the pulse of 2025 sonics, the track sets a confident tone for the EP, balancing groove, power, and futuristic flair.
On “Knowledge,” Zakente teams up with Lilocox to deliver a high-energy, rhythm-focused collaboration. Layered percussion, driving basslines, and soaring melodic elements create a dynamic bridge between traditional Afro influences and contemporary dancefloor appeal.
Closing the project is “Ancestral,” a deeply spiritual and grounded homage to the roots of Afro House. Earthy rhythms and evocative textures bring the EP full circle, honoring the genre’s origins while reinforcing Zakente’s bold, genre-defining sound.
ARKITECT is available now on all major digital streaming platforms, standing as both a celebration of Afro House heritage and a statement of its evolving future.
