Multi-award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer TRESOR has officially joined the all-star line-up for the highly anticipated Scatterlings Music Festival, set to take place on 1 August 2026 at Huddle Park in Johannesburg.
Widely regarded as one of Africa’s most influential musical voices, TRESOR brings his globally celebrated catalogue and electrifying stage presence to a festival that is quickly becoming one of South Africa‘s biggest cultural and live music events of the year.

The South Africa-based artist has built an extraordinary career, earning multiple South African Music Awards (SAMAs), achieving multi-platinum success, and receiving international acclaim both as a solo artist and collaborator. His acclaimed projects, including VII, The Beautiful Madness, and Nostalgia, have cemented his place among Africa’s musical elite.
TRESOR has also helped elevate African music on the global stage through collaborations with international and local stars such as Drake, Tems, and the Scorpion Kings. Fans can also expect to hear some of his biggest hits, including Mount Everest, Never Let Me Go, and Sondela, when he takes to the Scatterlings stage.
Speaking about joining the festival, TRESOR said:
“Scatterlings feels like a celebration of who we are as Africans and how music connects us beyond language, culture, or background. To be part of something that brings together so many incredible artists and audiences in one space is really special. Johannesburg crowds always bring unmatched energy, so I’m looking forward to creating a memorable moment together.”
TRESOR joins an extraordinary line-up featuring Grammy Award-winning Zakes Bantwini, Sjava, Sun-El Musician, Msaki, Jesse Clegg, Simmy, J’Something, Sminofu, Zolani Mahola, and several other leading and emerging South African artists.
Curated and conceptualised by Jesse Clegg and Msaki, Scatterlings Music Festival aims to celebrate heritage, identity, and the unifying power of music by bringing together some of the country’s most celebrated voices for a one-night-only experience.
“As thousands gather for a one-night-only celebration of music and meaning, it’s about bringing people together again through music that has always connected us,”.
said Jesse Clegg
With excitement around the event continuing to build, fans are encouraged to secure their tickets early as demand is expected to rise significantly in the weeks leading up to the festival.
