Summer in Southern Africa is about more than finding the right playlist. It is about getting outside, discovering somewhere different and finding those golden-hour moments that somehow become the memories you keep.
That is the thinking behind the Corona Sunsets Summer Tour, which is returning in 2026 with its biggest journey yet — and crossing into Botswana for the first time.
Running from 24 October to 19 December, the tour will connect seven destinations across South Africa and Botswana, turning a familiar summer event format into a broader journey built around music, nature, creativity and connection.
From Joburg to Gaborone
The tour launches at The Fat Olive in Johannesburg on 24 October, before moving through Pretoria, Durban and Johannesburg again as summer gathers momentum.
December takes the experience across the border, with Dimawe in Gaborone hosting the tour’s Botswana debut on 12 December.

The journey then continues to Cape Town on 15 December before wrapping up at Manor House in Ballito on 19 December.
For a generation increasingly looking for experiences rather than simply another night out, the cross-border expansion adds an interesting dimension. The tour is creating a Southern African summer circuit where music becomes a reason to travel, explore and experience different places.
The Botswana debut also signals how the culture around outdoor entertainment continues to move beyond traditional city boundaries.
More Than Music
While artists remain central to the experience, Corona is deliberately positioning the tour as something broader than a series of concerts.
Its More Than Music concept encourages guests to interact with the environment and participate in experiences away from the main stage.
At the More Than Music space, visitors can take part in the Eco Passport Journey, moving through activities that include creating personalised Sunnycords, an interactive drumming session and a Living Is Calling Instagram station.
Those who complete the journey can then access a mixology experience where they create their own Corona drink or cocktail.
It gives the event a more participatory feel — less about standing in front of a stage and more about moving through an experience with friends.
Seven Stops, Two Countries
The expansion comes after seven years and 48 tour events, establishing Corona Sunsets as a recurring fixture on the summer events calendar.
Now, the next chapter is taking the concept beyond South Africa.
Artists for the 2026 tour are still to be announced, adding another layer of anticipation as the summer season approaches.

Seven stops. Two countries. One summer journey that is increasingly about what happens beyond the music.
