“At the end of the day, it’s our life, and who better to tell that story than me?”
Why Nothing Is Taboo
Felix doesn’t shy away from taboo topics either, including sex and the HIV/Aids pandemic.
“Yes, HIV is serious, and many of us have lost loved ones to it. But sometimes, laughter is the medicine. And as for sex—what’s so sensitive about it? We all do it!”

“If comedians don’t talk about these things, who will? We’re living through hard, unpredictable times. People need to laugh now more than ever.”
Fat Jokes? Felix Is Unbothered
As someone who regularly gets flack for his body size, Felix flips the narrative with humour and confidence.
“Yes, I’m fat. But honestly? I don’t care. It’s my talent, not my physique, that opens doors. If I make people feel good through my comedy, I’ve done my job.”

Felix’s upcoming appearance at the Laugh Africa Comedy Festival on Showmax is a milestone moment.
“Being part of this festival is huge. To hold the stage solo in front of a massive crowd—that’s not for the faint-hearted. When I got the call, I thought, ‘Yoh… I’ve arrived.’”
