Multiple SAMA Award Winner, Sun-El Musician headlines the BudXLab, this Wednesday, June 29th in a much anticipated performance at the Venue Thirteen Rooftop Bar, Johannesburg, along with special guests Sebastian Dutch and Mpho.Wav.

One of South Africa’s most prolific producer-DJ-songwriter, Sun-El’s debut album, “Africa To The World,” reached #1 on both the Apple Music and iTunes charts, and the “Akanamali”-hitmaker has since produced epic collaborations with the likes of Simmy, Ami Faku, Mthunzi, Black Coffee and Msaki.

A global dance music series where the world’s best and biggest DJs play special sets for a select group of fans, which is then broadcast globally, BudXLab continues to build momentum, featuring only the very best talent.

Both Sun-El Musician and Msaki are nominated for SAMA awards this year and, proving itself as the ultimate curator of clubbing events in Jozi, BudXLab will also feature Msaki on July 13.

For now, Sun-El Musician will treat music lovers at this week’s BudXLab to what he calls “African Electronic Dance Music” (also the name of his latest album) – a distinctive fusion of deep house, kwaito, and Afropop. It’s his ear for producing that has also led Sun-El to scouting & signing outstanding South African voices and DJ talent to his label, El-World Music.

Special guest, South African DJ and producer Mpho.Wav, is one of these and the up-and-coming star is renowned for taking club-goers on an eclectic musical journey in his sets.

Also a special guest, Sebastién Dutch hails from Ndola, Zambia and is the 2017 winner of the AXE DJ Challenge. Following a number of pan-African performances and an international appearance in Ibiza, Spain, Dutch has become globally respected for his DJ skills and rhythmic sensibility.
