TV presenter, actress and singer Ntombee Ngcobo-Mzolo is back to host The Mommy Club reunion for the second year in a row, promising to unpack the emotional and dramatic highs of Season 3 in a two-part special. Set to premiere 17 and 24 May 2025, the reunion episodes will stream exclusively on Showmax.
Season 3 has been nothing short of a phenomenon, becoming the most-watched reality series on Showmax this year. And it’s easy to see why — the season ended on a cliffhanger of emotional turmoil, unresolved spiritual attacks, and deep divides among the cast.

The Cast Divides
As fans prepare for the reunion, the cast appears to be split into two distinct groups:
- Team OG: Hermajesty (a staple since Season 1), Mrs Sande (Season 2), and newcomers Pheladi and Vuyi.
- Team New Wave: Mrs J, Noksie, and “friend of the show” Rosette.
With no resolution in sight, fans are looking to Ntombee to moderate the conflict and get to the root of the tension.
Ntombee: The Unbiased Mediator
“I’m thrilled to be back to help unpack all the drama that’s unfolded this season. Season 3 has been must-watch television, and I’m here to dig deep, ask the tough questions, and hold every mommy accountable.”
says Ntombee
She promises a neutral stance.
“Just like last time, I’ll be completely unbiased. I’m here to represent the viewers and ensure they get the clarity they deserve.”
More than just a referee, Ntombee hopes to foster healing.
“Ideally, I’d love to see them find common ground and move forward as a group. That begins with truly acknowledging each other’s perspectives.”
A Growing Franchise
What began as a bold look into the lives of affluent South African moms has become a powerhouse franchise with four editions:
- The Mommy Club: Johannesburg (Original series – currently in Season 3)
- The Mommy Club: Van Die Hoofstad (Pretoria edition – most-watched Afrikaans series on Showmax)
- The Mommy Club: Sugar & Spice (Durban-based, showcasing Indian families)
- The Mommy Club: Tanzania (East African expansion featuring some of Tanzania’s top female personalities)
As the series expands, so too does its cultural impact — bringing viewers across Africa into the luxurious, chaotic, and heartfelt world of motherhood.
Don’t miss the fireworks, resolutions (hopefully), and emotional breakthroughs when The Mommy Club Season 3 Reunion hits Showmax on 17 & 24 May.
