Love Is Back on the Menu at Bravo’s Love Hotel

There comes a point when starting over becomes less about looking back and more about discovering what comes next. Whether it’s navigating life after divorce, adjusting to an empty nest or simply deciding that love deserves another chance, the journey can be complicated. Now, four familiar reality television personalities are bringing that journey to a luxurious Mexican getaway.

Bravo’s Love Hotel is checking into Bravo Africa on 7 November 2026, bringing romance, relationship drama and the unmistakable personalities of The Real Housewives franchise into a new dating experiment.

Four Housewives, Four Different Chapters

The eight-episode series brings together Shannon Storms Beador from The Real Housewives of Orange County, Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby from The Real Housewives of Potomac, and Luann de Lesseps, known for The Real Housewives of New York City and The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy.

While the setting promises luxury, the stories behind the women are rooted in something much more relatable: navigating life’s unexpected turns and figuring out what happiness looks like in a new chapter.

Beador arrives following a highly publicised and turbulent breakup, ready to explore dating while remaining open to something meaningful. Bryant, meanwhile, is embracing life as an empty nester after sending her daughters off to college, making space for romance to become a priority again.

For Darby, preparing for divorce means stepping into unfamiliar territory and rediscovering herself in the dating world. De Lesseps, having experienced two divorces, is approaching the experience with the hope that another opportunity at love could deliver a different ending.

Their circumstances may differ, but there’s a shared thread running through the experience: starting again doesn’t necessarily mean starting from scratch.

Romance Meets Reality Television

Of course, this is Bravo, so finding love is only part of the entertainment.

Set against the luxurious surroundings of the Grand Velas Boutique Hotel in Los Cabos, Mexico, the women will meet a selection of successful suitors hoping to make a connection.

Guiding the experience is actor, writer and comedian Joel Kim Booster, who takes on the role of Love Concierge. His job is to help the women navigate the romantic possibilities while keeping the experience moving.

The show’s central twist revolves around a coveted key to the Love Hotel. The women decide which suitors get to check in and which ones must check out, placing them firmly in control of their romantic prospects.

By the end of the retreat, each woman faces a final decision: leave paradise in a relationship or return home single.

The Appeal of Starting Over

Beyond the glamorous surroundings and reality television theatrics, Bravo’s Love Hotel taps into a conversation that resonates across generations.

Modern relationships are rarely straightforward. People experience breakups, divorce, changing priorities and different definitions of what a fulfilling partnership should look like. Starting over can be intimidating, particularly when life doesn’t follow the timeline people once imagined.

For viewers, the appeal lies in watching four established personalities step outside their familiar Housewives environments and navigate a different kind of vulnerability.

There is also something refreshing about a dating show where the women hold the keys, make the decisions and determine what they want from the experience.

Whether genuine connections emerge or the retreat delivers more memorable reality television moments remains to be seen.

When to Watch Bravo’s Love Hotel in South Africa

Produced by Shed Media, with Lisa Shannon, Dan Peirson, Trifari Williams and Tom Ciaccio serving as executive producers, the first season consists of eight episodes.

South African viewers can catch Bravo’s Love Hotel on Bravo Africa (DStv Channel 124) from 7 November 2026 at 19:00.

New episodes will premiere every Saturday, leading up to the season finale on 26 December 2026.

Love might not come with guarantees, but for these four Housewives, checking into the Love Hotel means giving possibility another chance.
