Running is no longer something that simply happens before or after the working day. For a growing generation of urban runners, it is part of how they navigate life — from early-morning kilometres to meetings, commutes, creative sessions and everything that happens after hours.
That is the thinking behind PUMA x SAYSKY Back to Business, the third and final chapter of the collaboration between PUMA and Copenhagen-based running brand SAYSKY.
Launching globally on 20 August 2026, the collection takes an unexpected route: what happens when the visual language of the office meets the technical demands of running?

When The Office Meets The Start Line
Rather than treating running as a separate part of the day, Back to Business embraces the idea that the sport can influence your entire lifestyle.
Classic business tailoring becomes the creative reference point, with pinstripes, refined colour palettes and clean silhouettes reworked into technical running apparel.

The result feels less like traditional sportswear and more like a contemporary uniform for people constantly moving between different worlds.
That idea has particular resonance in South Africa, where urban runners are increasingly building communities around road running, wellness, performance and lifestyle. The running kit is no longer just about function — it can also become part of personal identity.

Built For More Than The Morning Run
At the centre of the collection are two performance running silhouettes: the PUMA x SAYSKY Deviate NITRO™ Elite 4 and PUMA x SAYSKY MagMax NITRO™ 2.
The Deviate NITRO™ Elite 4 is designed with race-day performance in mind, combining NITROFOAM™ ELITE cushioning with a full-length PWRPLATE carbon-fibre plate for responsiveness and propulsion.

The MagMax NITRO™ 2 takes a different approach, focusing on everyday training with a high-stack NITROFOAM™ midsole, engineered knit upper and PUMAGRIP outsole.
Alongside the footwear, the apparel and accessories extend the business-inspired aesthetic into technical running essentials — giving the collection a cohesive look that can move from the streets to training sessions.

An “Out of Office” That Actually Means Running
PUMA and SAYSKY are taking the concept beyond clothing with the Out of Office Relay in Copenhagen on 20 August.
Instead of a conventional running route, participants will navigate an office building through elevators, stairwells and parking garages before finishing with food, drinks and a celebration.

It is a playful expression of the collection’s central idea: running does not have to fit neatly into the spaces traditionally assigned to sport.
For urban runners, the city itself can become the playground.

What It Means For South Africa
The collection launches through PUMA.com, PUMA retail stores and Shelflife from 20 August 2026. However, South African runners should note that the SAYSKY Deviate NITRO™ Elite 4 will not be available in South Africa.
That limitation aside, Back to Business taps into a bigger shift in running culture — one where performance, fashion, community and everyday identity increasingly overlap.
The final chapter of PUMA and SAYSKY’s collaboration ultimately asks a simple question: if running shapes how you approach the rest of your life, why shouldn’t your running gear reflect that?
