Clara Hill & Crackazat Release “Better” Ahead of Harmony EP
Berlin meets Bristol as acclaimed German singer-songwriter Clara Hill and celebrated British producer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Crackazat (Ben Jacobs) officially launch their long-awaited collaboration with the release of Better, the first single from their upcoming Harmony EP.
Released on 26 June 2026, Better marks the beginning of a creative partnership built on years of admiration, musical chemistry and a shared passion for soulful electronic music.
A Collaboration Years in the Making
The story began in 2022 when Clara Hill discovered Crackazat’s music through Instagram and was instantly captivated by his unique sound and artistic visuals inspired by nature.

Clara recalls
For Ben Jacobs, the admiration stretched back more than two decades. He first heard Clara’s unmistakable vocals on Jazzanova’s iconic track No Use, long before launching his own successful career.
Their paths finally crossed during Clara’s visit to South Africa in 2023, where she attended one of Crackazat’s live performances. Although both artists remained busy with their own projects, they promised to collaborate—and by late 2024, that promise became reality.
“Better” Delivers Hope Through Soulful House
The first single, Better, explores the emotional struggle between self-doubt and self-belief.
Inspired by the tendency to overthink life’s decisions, the song encourages listeners to trust themselves and embrace progress despite uncertainty.
Clara describes the track as “a hopeful song” that acknowledges the noise inside our minds while reminding us to keep moving forward with confidence.
Musically, Better blends uplifting piano melodies, warm grooves, sophisticated electronic soul, jazz-infused house rhythms and Clara’s signature velvet vocals into a timeless listening experience.
A New Chapter with “I Want You to Know (My Heart Beats Slow)”
The collaboration continues on 21 August 2026 with the release of I Want You to Know (My Heart Beats Slow).
Rather than focusing on uncertainty, the song reflects on mature love, gratitude and relationships that deepen over time. Clara explores the idea of loving someone in the present because of lessons learned from a previous relationship, creating a heartfelt narrative built on trust, consistency and emotional growth.
The production features deep house grooves, shimmering keyboards, soulful guitar work and Crackazat’s refined musical craftsmanship, perfectly complementing Clara’s expressive vocal performance.
Harmony EP Arrives This December
