WAV Festival Final Line-Up Revealed

WAV Festival Announces the Final Phase of Its Cape Town Line-Up

Afro Nation’s bold new festival concept, WAV Festival, has officially unveiled the final phase of its line-up ahead of its highly anticipated debut in Cape Town on 2 January 2026. Building on the excitement generated by earlier announcements, this final reveal completes a genre-defining programme that celebrates the future of R&B, soul and diasporic sound.

Leading the last wave of additions is Special Guest Wale, the Grammy-nominated artist renowned for his thoughtful lyricism and seamless fusion of hip-hop, soul and spoken-word storytelling. With a catalogue that bridges introspection and mainstream appeal, Wale brings a powerful creative presence to the WAV stage.

Also joining the line-up is rising R&B star Isaiah Falls, whose rich vocals and emotionally charged performances have positioned him as one of the most exciting emerging voices in contemporary soul. His inclusion reinforces WAV Festival’s commitment to spotlighting global talent shaping the next era of expressive, resonant music.

These final confirmations complete a standout roster that already includes Mariah The Scientist, Special Guest Kelvin Momo, Sasha Keable, Shekhinah, Langa Mavuso, Manana, Nanette, Kujenga, Lia Butler, Xowiè, and Strictly Soul Hour featuring Akio and Yandani. Together, the line-up reflects WAV’s culturally rooted yet future-facing vision, blending international and local excellence on one immersive platform.

Designed for a global community of music lovers, cultural explorers and style-driven audiences, WAV Festival promises a fully immersive experience set against Cape Town’s iconic natural landscape. The festival reimagines how music, culture and connection converge on the African continent, bringing together sound, creativity and community in one landmark event.

Demand for the debut edition has been overwhelming. Golden Circle tickets are officially sold out, and overall ticket sales have already surpassed 90% sold out. In response to the growing excitement, Afro Nation will soon announce the Africa House VIP Upgrade — a limited, premium hospitality experience inspired by Afro Nation’s renowned VIP offerings worldwide. Africa House will blend art, comfort and community in a dedicated space celebrating African creative excellence. Further details will be revealed soon.

WAV Festival is born from a collaboration between The Malachite Group and Africa Creative Agency (ACA). The Malachite Group are the visionaries behind globally celebrated festival concepts such as Afro Nation, staged in Portugal, Miami, Detroit and Ghana, while ACA brings deep expertise in African talent management and cultural strategy. Together, they present WAV as a festival built on local insight with global ambition.
