SABC Announced as Official Broadcaster of Corona Sunsets Festival
South Africans nationwide are in for a spectacular experience as the SABC has been announced as the official broadcaster of the Corona Sunsets Festival 2025, set to take place in Muldersdrift on Saturday, 13 September. This collaboration gives audiences a front-row seat to world-class performances, immersive cultural experiences, and the festival’s signature “More Than Music” moments.
The broadcast will kick off with a one-hour pre-show special from 7–8pm on S3, followed by a two-hour live event from 8–10pm exclusively on SABC 1. Both the pre-show and live broadcast will be available on-demand via SABC Plus for viewers who want to catch every moment.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Casalinga, Muldersdrift, this year’s festival promises unforgettable performances by artists including Jeremy Loops, Ndlovu Youth Choir, Oscar Mbo, Major League DJz, 340ml, and more. For the first time ever, SABC viewers will experience the festival’s iconic Sunset Moment, breathtaking art installations by Daniel Popper, trapeze acts, and immersive workshops exploring mindfulness, creativity, and sustainability.
