Naledi Aphiwe returns with a powerful new single, “Waiting for You,” joining forces with South African rap sensation Blxckie and emerging talent LilyFaith. The track sees Naledi stepping into bold new territory, trading her signature Afro-pop melodies for an infectious Afrobeat groove that feels ready-made for summer playlists across Africa and beyond.

Following the chart-topping success of “Romeo & Juliet”—which racked up over 10 million streams in just three months—“Waiting for You” further cements Naledi’s status as one of the continent’s most exciting young voices. After gaining global recognition from her feature on Chris Brown’s “Shooter,” she now boasts over 1.2 million monthly Spotify listeners and a combined social media following exceeding 5 million.

LilyFaith, discovered through a viral TikTok open verse challenge, brings fresh, dynamic vocals that blend perfectly with Naledi’s melodic hooks. Her breakout performance on this track signals the arrival of a promising new artist. Rounding out the trio is Blxckie, who delivers a slick, charismatic verse with his trademark lyrical finesse. Since his gold-certified debut B4Now, Blxckie has built an unstoppable wave—touring globally and landing a spot on Def Jam Recordings Africa.

Produced with rich Afrobeat textures and global appeal, “Waiting for You” captures three unique voices in harmony. It’s a cross-genre hit in the making, blending emotional depth, star power, and a vibe that refuses to quit.
