adidas has officially unveiled TRIONDA FINAL, the Official Match Ball that will be used during the semi-finals, bronze final and final of the FIFA World Cup 2026™. Designed specifically for the tournament’s biggest matches, the new ball combines premium aesthetics with the same world-class performance technology introduced with the original TRIONDA match ball.

For the first time in FIFA World Cup™ history, adidas has created a completely distinct design for the tournament’s closing stages instead of simply updating the colours of the existing match ball. The TRIONDA FINAL represents football’s greatest prize through an elegant combination of gold, black and white, creating a bold visual identity worthy of the world’s biggest sporting event.

The premium gold finish pays tribute to the iconic FIFA World Cup™ Trophy, while vibrant pink and red accents add energy and connect the ball visually to the latest adidas football footwear seen on the pitch.

The design also celebrates the host cities of the competition’s decisive matches. Dallas, Atlanta, Miami and New York New Jersey feature prominently within the graphics, while the remaining FIFA World Cup 2026™ host cities are incorporated into the triangular design elements, creating a unique storytelling approach across the surface of the ball.

Although the appearance has evolved, the performance remains identical to the original TRIONDA Official Match Ball. The TRIONDA FINAL retains the same innovative four-panel construction, panel shape and textured surface engineered to deliver exceptional aerodynamics, stable flight and consistent performance throughout every match.

The ball also features the latest generation of adidas Connected Ball Technology, providing real-time ball data to support faster decision-making by match officials while delivering deeper performance insights during matches.

Football fans can own the same ball that will feature during the FIFA World Cup 2026™ semi-finals and final. The TRIONDA FINAL Official Match Ball will retail for R2,799 and will be available from 17 July at adidas retail stores, selected retailers and online.
