Our Experience at H&M South Africa Celebrates 10 Years with S/S25 Music Experience in Johannesburg
On 10 September, H&M South Africa lit up Johannesburg with the S/S25 Music Experience – a dazzling night of fashion, music, and celebration. The event marked not only the arrival of the second drop of the Spring/Summer 2025 collection but also the brand’s 10-year anniversary in South Africa.

The iconic 92 Rivonia building in Sandton was transformed into a bold red-hued stage, creating the perfect backdrop for a night of style and sound.

The evening kicked off with an electrifying performance from Intimitive Dance Company, setting the tone for an unforgettable lineup. Live performances by Kamo Mphela, Shekhinah, and Internet Girl, alongside dynamic DJ sets from Lelowhatsgood, DJ Kent, and Baby Whitz, kept the energy high. The star-studded guest list included Nomalanga Shozi, Elaine, lordkez, Nadia Jaftha, and Prince Grootboom, who joined tastemakers and fashion enthusiasts in celebrating the milestone.

Staying true to H&M’s legacy of blending fashion and music, the S/S25 Music Experience offered more than performances. Guests explored cinematic fashion moments, enjoyed H&M Beauty nail touch-ups, engaged with immersive photo installations, and even shopped the collection ahead of its official release through a Superbalist online pod.

In line with H&M’s inclusive spirit, customers could win tickets via Fashion News signups and competitions, ensuring loyal fans shared in the celebration.
“Celebrating 10 years of H&M in South Africa is an incredible milestone, and the S/S25 Music Experience was the perfect way to mark it. We brought people together through local music and creativity while showcasing a Spring/Summer collection that embodies freedom and self-expression,” .

The second chapter of H&M’s ethereal Spring/Summer 2025 collection pays tribute to the history of music, from the romantic sheers of festival icons to the eclectic energy of rock & roll, glam rock, and new romantic styling. With clean lines, bohemian textures, and a sun-kissed palette, the collection balances nostalgia with modern minimalism.

The collection is available from 11 September on Superbalist and from 18 September at H&M stores nationwide.
