Whitstable Pearl Season 3 – New Mysteries, Deeper Twists, and the Return of Pearl and Mike

Whitstable Pearl Returns for Season 3 on Universal TV – Premiering 27 May

Fan-favourite crime drama Whitstable Pearl is back with Season 3, premiering Tuesday, 27 May at 8PM on Universal TV (DStv Channel 117). New episodes will air weekly until 1 July 2025, delivering fresh mysteries, emotional depth, and the return of the show’s beloved leads—Pearl Nolan (Kerry Godliman) and DCI Mike McGuire (Howard Charles).

Set in the picturesque seaside town of Whitstable, the series blends mystery, personal drama, and emotional complexity as Pearl juggles her private investigation business and personal life. This season, she leaves most of the restaurant work to her mother Dolly and assistant Ruby, devoting herself fully to detective work.

Meanwhile, Pearl’s romantic relationship with teacher Tom is put to the test when he pushes for a deeper commitment. The dynamic between Pearl and Mike also evolves. Having returned from a brief hiatus, Mike seems calmer and more grounded—but police work, as always, threatens to unravel his newfound peace.

Season 3 dives deeper into character development, especially Pearl’s concern for Mike’s unresolved grief over his wife’s death. As they collaborate to solve the town’s crimes, Pearl is determined to help Mike heal—even if their connection is no longer romantic.
