PUMA AND PEANUTS BRING AN EXCITING NEW COLLECTION TO LIFE
Sports company PUMA has teamed up with Peanuts for a new line of footwear, apparel and accessories for adults and kids featuring Charles M. Schulz’s classic characters. The two iconic brands come together to create a fun collection revolving around sport and the Peanuts gang.
Charles M. Schulz first introduced the world to the Peanuts characters in 1950, when the comic strip debuted in seven newspapers. Since then, Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang have made an indelible mark on popular culture. After 70 years and nearly 18 000 comic strips, the Peanuts gang remains a staple in pop culture and still has hearts captured around the globe. Much like Snoopy himself, the PUMA X PEANUTS collaboration is full of character and imagination. It brings with it a sense of nostalgia that could only be achieved by the Peanuts gang.
Expect comfort and classic PUMA styles, adorned with members of the Peanuts gang (including Charlie Brown, Snoopy and Woodstock) and scenes from basketball. Clothing includes the PUMA x Peanuts LS Tee (R899), Hoodie (R1 699), Sweatpants (R1 399) and Tee (R699). Footwear features the Future Rider (R1 999) and a basketball classic: the Ralph Sampson (R2 299). Rounding out the adult items in the range are beanies (R399) and a backpack (R1 299).
The kid’s Peanuts collection encompasses the characters playing a wider range of sports such as baseball and soccer. It features a variety of unisex items including PUMA x Peanuts hats (R399), tees (R349 – R399) and AOP Leggings (R599) as well as the T7 Track Jacket (R1 099) and Pants (R999). Footwear includes the Mirage Mox Junior (R1 699), Preschool (R1 399) and Infant (R1 299) and PUMA Shuffle Preschool (R999) as well as the PUMA R78 Preschool (R1 099).
The PUMA x Peanuts collection drops on PUMA.com and at PUMA Select stores, Archive, X-Trend, Shelflife, Hipkicks, Shesha, Madaiza, Superbalist, We Are EGG and select retailers from 20 January 2021. The kids’ collection will be in-store from 5 February.
