Global sports brand PUMA has teamed up with Brooklyn-based designer KidSuper to create an exclusive custom FUTURE football boot for Neymar Jr., inspired by the legendary Phoenix. Designed for football’s biggest stage, the boot marks Neymar Jr.’s return to the Brazilian national team and represents resilience, belief, and the power of rising stronger after every setback.
At a tournament where bright pink boots have dominated the spotlight, PUMA has chosen a different approach by creating a one-of-a-kind boot that reflects Neymar Jr.’s remarkable journey. The creative concept was developed through close collaboration between Neymar Jr., KidSuper, and the PUMA design team. Together, they crafted a boot that tells a deeply personal story—one rooted in Brazil, perseverance, and legacy.
Ahead of Brazil’s next FIFA World Cup match, KidSuper personally delivered the boots to Neymar Jr. in a custom-designed presentation case, making the moment even more special.
The striking design begins with a bold yellow upper, a colour personally selected by Neymar Jr. to celebrate Brazil’s vibrant football culture. A hand-drawn Phoenix graphic created by KidSuper stretches across the boot, while feather-inspired detailing blends seamlessly into the FUTURE’s advanced 3D textured upper, creating a unique fusion of art and performance.
A green PUMA cat logo pays tribute to Neymar’s Brazilian roots, while the most meaningful detail lies inside the boot. The sockliner features artwork inspired by Neymar Jr.’s famous “Brazilian Boy” tattoo, showcasing three dream symbols—a football pitch, a family home, and the FIFA World Cup trophy—representing the dreams of a young Brazilian boy who rose to become a global football icon.
