One of reality television’s most iconic families is back. Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar and matriarch Ms. Evelyn Braxton are returning to screens in a brand-new series, The Braxtons, premiering on Sunday, 1 February at 7 PM on Bravo Africa (DStv Channel 124). New episodes will air every Sunday through to the season finale on 22 March 2026.
The highly anticipated series marks a deeply personal reunion, as the Braxton family opens up about the last few transformative years of their lives. From personal triumphs and career milestones to heartbreak and healing, The Braxtons offers viewers an intimate look at the family navigating life after the devastating loss of their sister, Traci Braxton.
For the first time, fans will witness never-before-seen private moments, including the family’s experiences during quarantine and the emotional journey of rebuilding their bond while honouring Traci’s legacy. At the heart of the series is Ms. Evelyn Braxton, who is determined to help her daughters heal together and turn pain into purpose.

Each hour-long episode follows the fast-paced lives of Toni, Towanda, Trina and Tamar as they juggle relationships, motherhood, careers and their unbreakable sisterhood. Finding balance proves challenging as each sister faces a pivotal year ahead.
This season features Toni Braxton launching her Las Vegas residency, Love and Laughter, alongside Cedric the Entertainer at The Cosmopolitan. Towanda Braxton navigates business and motherhood while playing a key role in supporting her nephew Kevin as he adjusts to life without his mother. Trina Braxton balances her growing businesses and raising her two sons as they step into adulthood. Meanwhile, Tamar Braxton continues expanding her music and media empire while managing motherhood and personal growth.
Adding another heartfelt layer to the series is Ms. Evelyn’s own journey, including her candid search for a life partner, making this season one of the most raw and unfiltered chapters yet.
