21 March @ 12:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Following the golden success of its Johannesburg edition, the Corona Sunsets Festival is set to return to Cape Town on Saturday, 21 March 2026, bringing its unique golden-hour celebration back to the Mother City’s breathtaking coastline.
A global highlight in music and lifestyle, the festival first launched in South Africa in 2016 in Cape Town. Next year’s event will be especially significant as it marks a decade of golden-hour experiences in the country, coinciding with Corona’s celebration of 100 years under the sun.
Set against Clifton’s iconic backdrop, the Cape Town edition promises more than just music. True to its “More Than Music” philosophy, the festival will create a holistic experience where attendees can reconnect with themselves, nature, and others. Festivalgoers can look forward to:
- Curated wellness workshops like yoga, meditation, and breathwork.
- Sustainable food gardens showcasing mindful eating and eco-conscious practices.
- Interactive art installations and live performances designed to engage all senses.
- The iconic Sunset Moment, where the entire crowd collectively embraces the golden hour.
“Cape Town holds a special place in the Corona Sunsets journey. Bringing the festival back to this incredible city, with its sunsets, coastline, and vibrant music culture, feels like coming home. As we celebrate 100 years under the sun, we can’t wait to create more golden-hour memories together with Cape Town.”
says Melanie Nicholson, Head of Brand: Corona South Africa
With its focus on sustainability, mindfulness, and connection, the Cape Town festival will build on the success of previous editions while offering audiences a refreshed and immersive experience. From world-class performances to transformative workshops, the event embodies Corona’s mission to “Protect Our Sunset” while celebrating life under the sun.
