Joburg, get ready – the ultimate golden hour experience is back.
This September, the Corona Sunsets Festival returns to Johannesburg, bringing its signature blend of music, nature, and mindful moments to the lush surrounds of Casalinga in Muldersdrift. Taking place on Saturday, 13 September 2025, this immersive festival is not just a party – it’s a celebration of More Than Music.

Last year’s sold-out Cape Town edition saw unforgettable performances by Scorpion Kings, MoBlack, Sun-El Musician, Nightmares on Wax, and Bongeziwe Mabandla. Now, Joburg’s turn has come – and the 2025 edition is set to outshine all expectations with a blockbuster line-up of local and international acts, to be revealed soon.

But this is not just another day out.
Corona’s global More Than Music movement means festivalgoers can expect more than just beats and bass. Think eco-conscious food crafted from locally sourced ingredients, interactive art installations by South African creatives, and transformative experiences that reconnect us to nature. And at the heart of it all is the iconic sunset ritual, a powerful moment of stillness and connection as day fades into night.
“We have a great South African summer to look forward to, and what better way to start than with the Corona Sunsets Festival. This is about more than music – it’s about disconnecting, slowing down, celebrating nature, and living in the moment.”
says Melanie Nicholson, Head of Brand: Corona South Africa
Of course, no Sunsets Festival would be complete without the Mandala Stage – the towering, artful centrepiece that has become a symbol of rhythm, unity, and freedom. As the golden light washes over Muldersdrift, expect to dance, vibe, and make unforgettable memories under the highveld sky.
