The BriefBox, a pioneering mobile podcast studio, is revolutionizing on-the-go content creation in South Africa. Founded by brothers Tebogo and Kgosietsile Moalusi, this innovative platform provides creators with a versatile space to produce high-quality content in diverse settings, from scenic mountain vistas to bustling urban cafés.
Throughout 2024, The BriefBox collaborated with the Gauteng Tourism Authority, participating in various festivals where notable personalities engaged in interviews conducted by Mr. Barba Gaoganediwe. The studio also hosted DJ Switch‘s 100th “Put Me On Switch” podcast special during the Basha Uhuru festival, featuring dynamic interviews that resonated with audiences.
About the Founders
Tebogo Moalusi
A business professional, creative entrepreneur, and social activist, Tebogo has extensive experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, ICT, and insurance, focusing on business development, marketing, and sales. He founded the Young Professionals Association and the Bokamoso Cross Mentorship Programme, leading both for twelve years to advance youth development. Tebogo holds a BCom in Economics and Law from the University of Cape Town, where he served as Treasurer General of the Student Representative Council, and an MBA specializing in entrepreneurship from the Gordon Institute of Business Science. Born in Soweto, he is passionate about the creative sector.
Kgosietsile Moalusi
With a decade of experience as a brand enthusiast and intrapreneurial marketer, Kgosietsile excels in creating consumer-centric brands. He holds a postgraduate degree in Marketing Management from the Institute of Marketing Management Graduate School and is pursuing a Master’s in Business Leadership at The Da Vinci Institute of Research and Technology. His career includes roles at YFM, Red Bull, Ogilvy & Mather South Africa, and MultiChoice, where he served as Senior Marketing Manager for DStv.
