Spring Fiesta 2026 Turns Up the Heat

Spring in Mzansi means warmer days, outdoor link-ups and, inevitably, a serious reason to get the crew together. This year, Spring Fiesta is bringing that energy back to Wild Waters in Boksburg on 3 October, marking 16 years of turning a music festival into a cultural meeting point.

With more than 120 local and international artists and DJs, six themed stages and an expected crowd of more than 20,000 people, Spring Fiesta 2026 is positioning itself as more than another date on the festival calendar.

It is a celebration of how South Africans listen, dance and connect.

Six Stages, One Massive Soundtrack

The festival’s biggest strength is its refusal to put Mzansi’s music culture into one box.

The Spring Fiesta Main Stage brings together heavyweight names including Scorpion Kings, Cassper Nyovest, Msaki, Mi Casa, Nasty C, Kelvin Momo, K.O, DJ Zinhle, Sun-El Musician and Dlala Thukzin.

Then there is the Piano Dreamland Stage, leaning into the continued influence of amapiano with Sam Deep, Ch’cco, Shakes and Les, Masterpiece YVK and Sfarzo Rtee.

For listeners who want deeper electronic sounds, Stay True Sounds features Atjazz, Jullian Gomes, Dwson, Kid Fonque and Vinny Da Vinci B2B DJ Christos, while Bakone AfroTech brings together Da Capo, Manoo, Caiiro, Enoo Napa and Culoe De Song.

Hip-hop heads aren’t being left behind either. Hosted by Speedsta, the Hip Hop Stage features Blxckie, Loatinover Pounds, Frank Casino, DJ Sliqe and DJ Capital.

And for those chasing soulful house and timeless dancefloor sounds, Soul Candi Classics adds another layer to the experience.

Sixteen Years of Finding the Crowd

What makes the festival’s 16th edition interesting is the journey behind it.

Spring Fiesta began with grassroots ambition and has grown into an established fixture capable of bringing together different generations and corners of South Africa‘s music audience.

Head of Talent Zane Gulston says the festival remains centred on the people who have supported it from the beginning, while continuing to push its creative boundaries.

That evolution is visible in the programming: established names sit alongside emerging artists, local sounds share space with international acts, and amapiano exists alongside hip-hop, AfroTech, deep house and soul.

More Than Just the Dancefloor

Spring Fiesta is also leaning into the festival experience beyond music.

Expect art installations, food trucks, pop-ups, collaborations and surprise moments scattered throughout Wild Waters, creating an environment designed for discovery as much as dancing.

For a generation that increasingly experiences music through social media, festivals have become content, community and memory-making spaces at the same time. Spring Fiesta appears to understand that the moments between sets can be just as important as the headline performance.

On Saturday, 3 October 2026, Wild Waters becomes the meeting point for that energy — from midday until late.

Tickets are available through Howler, with the lineup subject to change before or on show day.
