Moonchild Sanelly Celebrates Triumphant Homecoming at Wanderers Stadium
Moonchild Sanelly made a spectacular return to home soil with her highly anticipated FULL MOON – Return to Jozi performance, delivering an unforgettable show at Wanderers Stadium on 30 May. The performance formed part of the Bafana Bafana send-off event ahead of South Africa‘s FIFA World Cup campaign, bringing together thousands of football and music fans for a celebration of national pride.

Supported by the SAMPRA Development Fund, the event highlighted the importance of investing in South African artists and ensuring local music continues to flourish. The initiative gave fans the opportunity to witness one of South Africa‘s most internationally recognised performers live in Johannesburg after her successful global touring schedule.

Taking to the stage with her trademark confidence, bold fashion and infectious energy, Moonchild Sanelly thrilled the crowd with a powerful set featuring fan favourites alongside tracks from her critically acclaimed album, Full Moon. Fans of all ages filled the stadium with singing, dancing and celebration as the artist showcased the unique future-ghetto-funk sound that has earned her worldwide acclaim.

The festivities also featured performances and appearances by some of South Africa‘s biggest stars, including Daliwonga, Nia Pearl and Cassper Nyovest, creating a vibrant showcase of local talent. The combination of live music and the Bafana Bafana farewell event made for a uniquely South African celebration where sport and entertainment came together.
