PUMA Unveils Bold SHOWTIME Pack

Global sports brand PUMA has unveiled its all-new SHOWTIME Pack, a striking collection of football boots designed for players preparing to perform on football’s biggest stage. The new pack features the FUTURE 9 ULTIMATE, ULTRA 6 ULTIMATE and KING 20 ULTIMATE, combining expressive designs with cutting-edge performance technologies.

Inspired by PUMA’s iconic TRICKS Packs of 2014 and 2016, which popularised mismatched, two-coloured football boots, the SHOWTIME Pack revives that fearless energy for a new generation of players. Loud, bold and impossible to ignore, the collection celebrates football’s increasingly creative and expressive era.

“The SHOWTIME Pack is all about self-expression and the confidence to perform at your absolute best on the biggest of stages. From creativity and control to speed and precision, every boot in the pack is built for players ready to put on a show.”

said Dominique Gathier, PUMA VP Teamsport

Leading the collection is the FUTURE 9 ULTIMATE, designed for playmakers who thrive on creativity and instinct. Its reengineered FUZIONFIT upper provides a second-skin fit, while targeted 3D grip zones and GripControl Pro technology enhance touch and control. The FLEXGILITY outsole delivers agile 360-degree movement for players who excel under pressure.

For speed-focused players, the ULTRA 6 ULTIMATE features an updated engineered mesh upper and PUMA’s SPEEDSYSTEM outsole, delivering explosive acceleration. The FastTrax stud design offers multidirectional traction, making the boot ideal for game-changing sprints and quick movements.

Completing the range is the KING 20 ULTIMATE, a modern evolution of one of football’s most iconic boots. The super-soft TOTALTOUCH+ upper provides exceptional touch and feel, while laser-cut grip zones and a lightweight PEBA outsole enable players to dictate the game with confidence and precision.

The SHOWTIME Pack will be worn by some of football’s biggest stars, including Neymar Jr, Christian Pulisic, Kai Havertz, Cody Gakpo and Morgan Rogers. South African football fans will also see local stars Teboho Mokoena, Themba Zwane, Iqraam Rayners, Patrick Maswanganyi and Sailor Mudau showcasing the collection on the pitch.

The launch forms part of PUMA’s broader SHOWTIME campaign for 2026, which extends beyond football and unifies the brand’s sporting categories through one bold colour direction. From elite runners at major marathons to basketball players in the NBA Playoffs and golfers competing at the US Open, PUMA athletes across disciplines will embody the SHOWTIME spirit throughout the year.

The PUMA SHOWTIME Pack, featuring the FUTURE 9, ULTRA 6 and KING 20, has been available since 28 May at PUMA.com, PUMA Retail stores and Totalsports. Pricing starts at R2,099 for the KING 20, R5,699 for the FUTURE 9, and R6,399 for the ULTRA 6.
