The drama isn’t only heating up on-screen — it’s also making waves in the awards space. At the recent South African Film and Television Awards, the hit telenovela Inimba scooped three major awards. Zenande Mfenyane won Best Supporting Actress in a Telenovela, while the show also claimed Best Achievement in Scriptwriting and the coveted Most Popular TV Soap or Telenovela as voted for by the public.

Meanwhile, courtroom drama Law, Love & Betrayal also impressed judges, taking home Best Achievement in Scriptwriting for TV Drama.

With the shows winning both on-screen and at prestigious industry awards, viewers can look forward to top-tier Mzansi storytelling all week long.

Here’s what’s coming up:

Genesis – Mon–Fri @ 19:30

This week on Genesis, a mother hatches a ruthless plan to eliminate a rival once and for all. An unpredictable man goes to great lengths to prove to the love of his life that their relationship still holds hope, while Mpumi (Karabelo Ramabodu) dreams of white wedding dresses floating through the sky.

A secret recording session takes an unexpectedly intimate turn, while Felicia (Baby Cele) threatens to cut Ishmael (Buyile Mdladla) off for good. Meanwhile, Fistos (Louis Vega Ngcayiya) struggles with Nandi’s delusions about their relationship. At The Rooftop, Ishmael’s voice carries a serenade that leaves Nobuhle completely unguarded.

Inimba – Mon–Fri @ 20:30

The tension rises on Inimba as the fallout from Zoleka’s (Lunathi Mampofu) rise to power begins to ripple through the powerful Ngcukana family.

Sydney (Siyabonga Shibe) is forced to confront what his ambition is costing him at home, while Hlathi (Sisanda Hewana) finally challenges the version of their marriage that Thumeka (Zenande Mfenyane) has been holding onto.

As alliances begin to shift, Zoleka realises her next move could destroy everything. When the Ngcukana family gathers, unity quickly turns into open warfare. Azande (Siya Raymond) refuses to accept decisions made in his absence, while Sydney takes a step toward both fatherhood and building a new empire.

Homecoming – Mon–Wed

On Homecoming, Sifiso (Thembinkosi Mthembu) believes he has finally found the answers he has been searching for — but MaNkwanyane (Shine Madela) reacts with explosive anger.

She accuses Sifiso of using the ancestors as an excuse to pull Zethu back into their troubled marriage. Shwabi refuses to accept the Captain’s accusations, while Sifiso pleads with MaGumede (Phumzile Kubeka) to intervene and help plead his case.

Meanwhile, Nomalanga (Nozipho Ndlovu) finds herself conflicted as pressure mounts for her to prove her love to Sphamandla (Zelwande Mbuli).

Law, Love & Betrayal S2 – Episode 3 (Sunday, 22 March)

“Solvitur Ambulando” (Things Will Sort Themselves Out)

Episode 3 of Law, Love & Betrayal delivers more courtroom tension and personal conflict.

Ayanda (Pearl Modiadie) is forced to account for her actions when her father’s health suddenly deteriorates and her leadership is openly challenged.
