King Wanda & The Don Evicted from Big Brother Mzansi S6

Big Brother Mzansi S6: King Wanda and The Don Evicted in Week 8

Week 8 of Big Brother Mzansi Season 6: Bazozwa delivered another dramatic Live Eviction Show as King Wanda and The Don became the latest housemates to leave the Bazozwa house. Their exit now leaves eight contestants battling it out for the grand prize as the competition edges closer to the finale.

A Jungle-Themed Live Eviction Show

The Week 8 Live Eviction Show, hosted by Smash Afrika, embraced the jungle theme that defined the week inside the house. The show opened with an energetic performance of “Lutho” by De Rose, featuring DJ Jaivane, Smaki 08, and Wesley Keys.

Taking to the stage afterwards, Smash Afrika acknowledged that it had indeed “been a wild week” in the Bazozwa house.

Ashay Reflects on Leadership

For the second week in a row, Ashay held the Head of House (HoH) title, securing immunity once again. During the show, Smash Afrika asked Ashay about the pressure of leading the house, especially after another wager loss.

Ashay admitted that he felt partly responsible, saying he should have been firmer in guiding the housemates during the wager preparation.

Meanwhile, Liema shared that the wager loss affected her deeply, especially after Biggie withdrew their messages from home as part of the punishment. She revealed that she had been looking forward to hearing words of encouragement from her family.

King Wanda Becomes First Evictee of the Night

When the eviction results began rolling in, Que was the first housemate declared safe — continuing his remarkable streak of surviving every eviction nomination since Week 1. Thandeka and Liema were also announced safe.

King Wanda

However, the moment of truth came when King Wanda was revealed as the first evicted housemate of Week 8.

On stage, Smash Afrika described him as looking “real Zulu.” King Wanda admitted he had many thoughts racing through his mind but said he was most excited about seeing his daughter again after his journey in the house.

The Don Follows in Second Eviction

The second eviction announcement placed The Don on the chopping block. His exit marked the end of his Bazozwa journey.

The Don

Speaking on stage, The Don explained that he avoided showing overconfidence inside the house despite believing he had a chance of reaching the end. Holding back tears, he revealed that life inside the house can be emotionally exhausting.

He also expressed how much he missed Neliswa, whose earlier disqualification from the game he still believes was unfair.

Both King Wanda and The Don will reflect on their time in the house during Beyond Umsindo, airing Thursday at 18:00 with Smash Afrika.

Jungle-Themed Wager Ends in Disappointment

Inside the house, Week 8 was defined by a jungle-themed wager task where housemates staked 100% of their weekly shopping budget.

Their mission was to perform a predator-versus-prey storyline, symbolising alliances and survival tactics in the house. The performance featured animal costumes, body paint and dramatic jungle calls.

Although Biggie praised their creativity, calling them “rare and dangerously beautiful animals,” the housemates ultimately lost the wager. According to Biggie, their storytelling relied too heavily on notes rather than authentic storytelling about their journey in the game.

The loss meant the housemates walked away without their expected shopping rewards, turning early confidence into disappointment.

Conspiracies and Rule Breaking Shake the House

The introduction of the Conspiracy Block added another layer of tension during the week. The special space allowed housemates to discuss normally forbidden topics such as nominations and alliances.

These discussions exposed shifting loyalties and sparked several heated debates.

However, Biggie later called a serious house meeting to address ongoing rule violations. Thandeka and Mmeli received final warnings for repeatedly ignoring instructions. As punishment, the entire house lost their messages from home, leaving several housemates visibly emotional.

Relationship Drama and Instigator Accusations

The week was also filled with relationship tension. King Wanda sparked controversy when he revealed that Trixie had allegedly made a negative comment about Bravo B.

The revelation triggered tension between the couple, placing the “Brixie” relationship under pressure. Trixie later confronted King Wanda, accusing him of stirring unnecessary drama by repeating the comment.

Viewers outside the house were left debating whether his actions were strategic gameplay or reckless instigation.

Saturday Night Party Sparks More Confessions

The Saturday Night Party, featuring music from DJ Cndo, delivered more drama once the music stopped.

During the late-night conversations, King Wanda claimed that Trixie had been chasing Bravo B since the beginning of the season.

Instead of denying the claim, Trixie embraced it. She openly admitted that she pursued Bravo B and declared she had “no regrets.” Her bold response turned the moment into a confident statement about owning her decisions.

The Road to the Finale Tightens

With only eight housemates remaining, the pressure inside the Bazozwa house continues to grow. Alliances are shifting quickly, secrets are surfacing, and every move could determine who walks away with the R2 million grand prize.

Fans can tune in Monday, 9 March, for the next Head of House Challenge at 18:00, followed by nominations at 20:00.

Big Brother Mzansi Season 6 airs live 24/7 on DStv Channel 198, with the Sunday Live Eviction Show at 18:00 on Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161) and Mzansi Wethu (DStv Channel 163).
