Mall of Africa Welcomes a Wave of New Stores

Mall of Africa continues to cement its position as one of the continent’s premier shopping destinations, welcoming an exciting wave of new store openings and relocations that bring global prestige, local pride and fresh retail experiences under one roof. The latest additions reflect the mall’s ongoing commitment to curated retail, offering shoppers access to world-class brands while celebrating South African innovation.

Fashion-forward arrivals and iconic names

Luxury fashion takes a confident step forward with the opening of Coach, one of only a handful of stores in Gauteng. Located opposite BOSS and Michael Kors, the elegant boutique showcases the brand’s most recognisable designs, including the iconic Tabby and Rogue handbags, alongside refined leather accessories crafted with timeless quality in mind.

Adding to the excitement, Kate Spade New York has made its South African debut at Mall of Africa with its first-ever store in the country. Renowned for crisp colour, graphic prints and playful sophistication, the opening offers local shoppers the chance to experience the globally loved brand in person for the very first time.

Emporio Armani has reopened in a new, more advanced space inspired by the brand’s Milan flagship. As one of only three Emporio Armani stores in Gauteng, the refreshed location delivers a more immersive environment showcasing fashion, footwear and accessories. Meanwhile, Lacoste has unveiled a one-of-a-kind flagship store in the Crystal Court — the first and only flagship of its kind in South Africa — offering a bold, future-facing interpretation of the brand’s signature sport-luxe aesthetic.

The fashion mix is further strengthened by a revamped BOSS store, now among the largest in the country, featuring the brand’s popular fashion and accessory collections. United Colours of Benetton has also joined the line-up, bringing its unmistakable Italian style, vibrant colour palettes and fresh silhouettes, all designed with a strong focus on sustainability.

Local pride, lifestyle and fresh concepts

Local success stories continue to shine at Mall of Africa. Silki Skincare has transitioned from a SOOK pop-up into a permanent store following strong customer demand. The youthful skincare brand offers complimentary consultations and advanced skin analysis conducted by trained somatologists, creating a destination focused on personalised skincare discovery.

South African label Old School, founded by two brothers, brings its modern take on supporter gear and retro-inspired apparel to the mall, celebrating sporting culture through contemporary design.

Families are well catered for with the arrival of Kids Around, offering designer children’s fashion from newborn to 16 years. The store stocks premium brands including Hugo, Karl Lagerfeld, BOSS, DKNY, Michael Kors, Jacobs and Billy Blush, making it a go-to destination for luxury kidswear.

Outdoor and lifestyle enthusiasts can explore The North Face, which has opened one of only two official stores in South Africa, as well as Diadora, bringing Italian sporting heritage through a curated range of lifestyle and performance footwear and apparel that balances comfort, movement and everyday style.

Elevated flavours and experiences

Adding a flavour-led dimension to the retail mix, Pantry by Marble has launched its first-ever pop-up at Mall of Africa. Designed for shoppers on the move, the concept offers elevated grab-and-go snacks, sweet and savoury treats, coffee, and a selection of Pantry favourites alongside exclusive pop-up offerings.

“Mall of Africa continues to evolve alongside the people who shop here. These new openings reflect a strategic mix of global names, local talent and fresh concepts, all chosen to create moments of discovery and connection. We are committed to continually reimagining the retail experience, ensuring every visit offers something new.”
