Known for spending hours creating and mixing music from their bedroom, LES frequently collaborates with local artists, pushing boundaries and exploring new sounds.
Growing up with diverse interests—from sports like golf to creative pursuits such as graphic design, writing, photography, and music—LES has developed a unique, multifaceted approach to art. Offstage, their inspiration comes from unapologetic self-expression, queerness, and the complexity of the human experience.
When not making music, LES indulges in programming as a technical hobby, balancing creativity with problem-solving. Their growing involvement in fashion photography, working with models at shows and shoots, highlights LES’s keen eye for the intersection of music and visual arts.
With ambitions to perform at festivals across Europe and Asia, expand Johannesburg’s club scene, and blend music with visual storytelling, LES is determined to leave a lasting mark. Their work champions inclusivity, particularly for queer and trans communities, through initiatives like MUSE with DANCE 4 THE GRLZ.
