Spanish producer and DJ Yamil makes a powerful debut on Sondela Recordings with Luz Da Tarde, a three-track release that showcases his signature blend of cultural richness, melodic depth, and percussive detail. Known for his work on MoBlack, Sol Selectas, Get Physical, and his own Pieces of Life imprint, Yamil continues to evolve his sound while honoring tradition.

The release begins with La Batea (Extended Mix), a touching homage to Panamanian folklore featuring the late Rosalinda de la Espada. Revived years after its inception, the track bridges heritage and modern electronic expression. The title track, Luz Da Tarde (Extended Mix), offers warm piano chords, layered melodies, and Portuguese–African vocal textures, evoking the golden glow of the afternoon. Closing the journey, Souq (Extended Mix) draws inspiration from North African markets, blending hypnotic percussion with the distinct sound of the “Zokra” for a vibrant, rhythm-driven experience.
With Luz Da Tarde, Yamil not only cements his place on Sondela but also delivers a release that invites listeners to travel, reflect, and dance through its Afro-Latin spirit and global sensibility.
