SOA MATTRIX & KABZA DE SMALL DELIVER A POWERFUL AMAPIANO–AFRO-HOUSE FUSION WITH NEW SINGLE “MEMEZA”
Johannesburg – South African multi-award-winning producer Soa Mattrix has joined forces with the King of Amapiano, Kabza De Small, to create a genre-blending masterpiece titled “Memeza”, set to release on 28 August 2025 across all major digital platforms.
The single features the captivating Starr Healer on vocals, alongside the Afro-house duo Fridgid Armadilo, delivering an emotionally charged performance over a rich, soulful, and rhythmically intricate soundscape. “Memeza” fuses the deep grooves of Amapiano with the melodic textures of Afro-house, creating a track that is both vibrant and deeply moving.
“Memeza,” a Xhosa word meaning scream, shout, or call out, is more than just a song—it’s a heartfelt declaration of love. Through her infectious and soulful delivery, Starr Healer expresses a powerful message: “I don’t care what people say. Those who don’t believe in love are lost; they cannot feel what I am feeling. So I will scream, shout, and let the world know about the love we share.”
This release marks the first single from Soa Mattrix’s highly anticipated upcoming album, “HOSI,” promising fans an exciting new chapter in his musical journey. With Kabza De Small’s signature piano-driven touch and Soa Mattrix’s lush, atmospheric production, “Memeza” is poised to captivate listeners, dominate playlists, and ignite dance floors both locally and globally.
