Rocking The Daisies & GALXBOY Collaborate For Limited Edition Range
Rocking the Daisies 2024 is set to elevate festival fashion with a special collaboration alongside GALXBOY, the iconic South African streetwear brand celebrated for its vibrant and culturally authentic designs. From October 3 to October 6, festivalgoers will have the opportunity to purchase an exclusive, limited-edition collection that embodies the spirit of both the festival and South African fashion.
This unique collaboration blends music, art, and fashion, offering bold and eye-catching apparel that stands out while supporting local talent. These limited pieces are expected to be the must-have items for festival attendees, serving as stylish mementos of the Rocking the Daisies 2024 experience.
In addition to the exclusive merch drop, Rocking the Daisies and GALXBOY joined forces for the 2024 Festival Talent Search competition, showcasing some of the brightest emerging designers in South Africa. Participants were invited to submit five original looks, which were judged by a panel of industry experts. The competition is now down to the Top 5 designers, who will present their collections at the festival’s Fashion Showcase, aligning their designs with the festival’s 2024 theme: “Into the Stars.”
The winner will receive a R20,000 cash prize, as well as the incredible opportunity to collaborate on the Rocking the Daisies 2025 capsule collection. They will also embark on a week-long internship with GALXBOY’s Founder and Creative Director, Thatiso Dube, gaining valuable insight into the fashion industry.
