South Ah – In an unprecedented move following an urgent late-night entertainment crisis meeting, President Ya Straata, also known as Focalistic, has declared Friday, 29 August 2025, a national public holiday. The reason? To give the people of South Ah a chance to unite for Scorpion Kings Live with Friends – the biggest Amapiano concert of the year at Loftus Stadium.

Key members of the President’s cabinet were in attendance, including Honourable Minister of Education Pharoahfi, Minister of Police Primo, Minister of Sports Dedrick, Minister of Finance DJ Maphorisa, Minister of Arts Kabza De Small, and Minister of Agriculture Stephan.

During the session, Minister Pharoahfi made a compelling case for a public holiday, urging the need to uplift national morale.

“Only piano can save the country.”

In true Amapiano spirit, Kabza De Small responded with conviction, stating:

That statement shifted the mood entirely, prompting President Ya Straata to make a bold declaration:

“We’ve heard the cries of the people. On 29 August, there is no work, no school, no gym. The only place to be is Loftus Stadium. This is not just a concert – it’s a movement. Loftus Versfeld. Scorpion Kings Live!”

The event promises to be a cultural phenomenon, featuring a star-studded lineup led by DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small, with guests including Daliwonga, Young Stunna, Ami Faku, Phila Dlozi, Focalistic, Msaki, Mlindo The Vocalist, Kwesta, and more.

Fans are urged to secure their tickets while they last — available via Webtickets and Pick n Pay stores nationwide.

Let the countdown to South Ah’s most important national holiday begin. On 29 August, the nation doesn’t go to work – we go to Loftus!
