Liam Mockridge – Rise (ft. Taiyo Ky)

While on tour in Japan during the start of 2023, Liam Mockridge linked up with Japanese Vocalist and Lo-Fi producer Taiyo Ky and recorded new single, ‘Rise’ (Release Date: October 6th, 2023).

With the help of Parcels Keyboarder Louie Swain and infamous disco producer Vantage, the song was written and recorded in a small studio on the outskirts of Tokyo. Rise showcases a skill in melting an 80’s production with boyband vocals and disco grooves, giving us a collaboration we didn’t know we needed.

As a recording artist and record producer, Liam Mockridge‘s music has an undeniable flavour of 70’s Funk & Soul blended with modern Disco. Growing up as the youngest of 6 boys, with a half Canadian half Italian heritage, Liam is truly a unique artist by nature. After finding some success as a bedroom producer, he released his first album on the New York Dance Label Soul Clap Records. and he is Currently based in Berlin, where he runs a recording studio in an old newspaper factory, working on his second full length album.
