adidas Football has revealed an exclusive Ultraboost shoe in partnership with Manchester United. The shoe is inspired by the red Lancashire rose, with detailing on the tongue and in-sole, as well as wording on the cage. It celebrates 110 years since the club’s first FA Cup win and takes design inspiration from the red rose on the shirt worn by United during the Final. The team beat Bristol City to lift the trophy back in 1909, with a first-half goal from Sandy Turnbull clinching victory.

It represents the start of a number of rose-inspired pieces that will be launched by adidas and Manchester United over the coming weeks as part of their new lifestyle range. The shoe, a limited edition, will be available on ecomm and at select adidas stores Canal Walk, Sandton and Gateway at a retail price of R3299.
