The YX25 Festival is Where Dreams Come True
4 October 2025 @ 12:00 pm – 5 October 2025 @ 2:00 am
On 4 October 2025, Constitution Hill becomes the stage where South Africa’s restless youth energy takes form as the YouthX Festival (YX25) returns with its boldest theme yet: “Dreams don’t sleep.”
YX25 is more than a festival—it’s a movement of dreamers, doers, creators, and changemakers who refuse to sleep on their visions. Powered by Nedbank, the festival brings together the voices of tomorrow while celebrating today’s bold youth.
A Stage for Changemakers: The YouthX Awards
At the heart of YX25 lies the prestigious YouthX Awards, which shine a spotlight on 10 young South Africans creating change across industries and communities. One winner will be crowned the 2025 YouthX Awards champion, joining a legacy of trailblazers who continue to shape the nation.
Music Meets Culture
Beyond ambition and innovation, YX25 promises a 12-hour shutdown of music, vibes, and culture. The lineup features some of South Africa’s most loved stars, including:
- DJ Maphorisa
- Focalistic
- Mellow & Sleazy
- Shekinah
- Shamiso
- Sun-El Musician
- Nasty C (global rap superstar)
- Plus crowd favourites DJ 1D and Omagoqa, with Primo9Teen and Lula Odiba hosting.
Unlocking Youth Potential
“At Nedbank, we understand that dreams demand more than inspiration – they require support, visibility, and a platform. YouthX is that platform,” .
says John Makgato, Head of Youth Segment Strategy and Client Value Proposition at Nedbank
Since its inception, YouthX has grown into a cultural movement—uplifting youth, celebrating resilience, and amplifying the limitless power of dreams. With YX25, that mission grows louder and more impactful.
