Scorpion Kings Set for Historic FNB Stadium Show
19 September All day
The Scorpion Kings are ready to make history once again. Following the massive success of Scorpion Kings Live [with Friends] in 2025, the iconic duo—DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small—have officially announced Scorpion Kings Live at FNB, set to take place on 19 September 2026 at FNB Stadium.
After a groundbreaking show at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in 2025, which brought together tens of thousands of fans in celebration of Amapiano culture, the movement is now evolving into something even bigger. That landmark event wasn’t just a concert—it was a cultural moment that fused music, fashion, and community, reinforcing the Scorpion Kings’ influence as global pioneers of the genre.
A Bigger Vision for 2026
In 2026, the vision expands dramatically. With an anticipated crowd of over 70,000 fans, Scorpion Kings Live at FNB is poised to become the largest Amapiano concert in the world. The event will transform the legendary venue—fondly known as “The Calabash”—into a vibrant celebration of the genre that continues to dominate dance floors worldwide.
This year’s theme, A Family Affair, highlights the deep-rooted sense of unity within the Amapiano movement. More than just a live show, the event will celebrate the extended family behind the sound—from artists and collaborators to fans who have carried Amapiano across borders.
The Kings Speak
Reflecting on the journey so far, DJ Maphorisa shared that the energy from last year’s event set the tone for what’s to come:
“Loftus was a moment we’ll never forget—the energy, the love, the unity. It showed us just how far Amapiano has come. But for us, that was only the beginning. FNB Stadium is about taking that feeling and amplifying it for the world to see.”
Kabza De Small echoed this vision, emphasizing growth and connection:
“Every Scorpion Kings Live show is about growth—not just for us, but for the culture. ‘A Family Affair’ is exactly what this is. It’s about bringing everyone together again, bigger than ever, and creating something unforgettable.”
A Cultural Landmark in the Making
As key architects of the Amapiano movement, the Scorpion Kings continue to push creative boundaries, redefining the live music experience. Each edition of Scorpion Kings Live builds on the last, evolving into a cultural landmark that resonates far beyond music.
Fans can expect a world-class production, an electrifying lineup, and an immersive atmosphere that captures the global reach and influence of Amapiano today.
Further announcements, including the full lineup and ticket details, will be revealed soon.
