South Africa’s beloved lifestyle festival, Big Day Out, is back and set to deliver its biggest edition yet. Multiple award-winning DJ, entrepreneur and producer Oskido has officially announced that Big Day Out 2026 will feature two stages for the first time, giving festivalgoers even more music, entertainment and unforgettable experiences.
Following another successful edition that attracted thousands of music lovers from across the country, the highly anticipated event is returning to Huddle Park in Linksfield, Johannesburg, on Saturday, 28 November 2026.
The introduction of a second stage comes after overwhelming feedback from attendees who wanted even more performances and a larger musical offering.

The additional stage will allow for an expanded lineup celebrating South Africa’s rich and diverse musical landscape, with genres including kwaito, house, amapiano and hip hop taking centre stage.
