22 February 2025 @ 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
South Africa is about to witness a first-of-its-kind DJ battle as Red Bull Turn It Up makes its explosive debut from 22 February to 15 March 2025. This high-energy track selection competition will bring together the country’s most dynamic DJ duos to battle it out in Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town.
A New Era of DJ Battles
Unlike traditional DJ competitions, Red Bull Turn It Up introduces an unpredictable twist—DJs won’t know what they’ll be mixing until the moment they step onto the stage. Each DJ team is given a surprise theme on the spot and must craft their mix in real time, competing in three intense rounds to win over the crowd. The pressure is high, the stakes are even higher, and the competition is fueled by pure creativity and instinct.
The Power is in the Audience’s Hands
Forget judges—at Red Bull Turn It Up, the audience gets to decide the winner. Every battle will be a crowd-driven spectacle, with the energy of the room determining who reigns supreme. Expect unexpected mashups, high-energy remixes, and boundary-pushing creativity as DJ duos fight to impress and entertain.
Meet the Host: Teddy Goodfella
Guiding the night’s electrifying battles is none other than Teddy Goodfella, a master of ceremonies known for his infectious energy and deep-rooted passion for music. His presence will set the perfect tone for an unforgettable night of beats, bass, and battle-ready DJs.
