DURBAN, THIS IS YOUR MOMENT: Mi Casa’s Friendship Cruise Sets Sail to Mozambique in 2027
South African music powerhouse Mi Casa is officially bringing its celebrated Friendship Cruise experience to Durban in 2027, marking a major new chapter for one of the country’s most anticipated lifestyle events.
After two unforgettable sold-out editions in Cape Town, the Friendship Cruise is now preparing to depart from Durban from 5–8 February 2027 aboard the luxurious MSC Armonia, taking guests on an unforgettable three-night journey to the stunning shores of Mozambique.
The cruise promises a unique blend of music, entertainment, relaxation, and meaningful connection at sea. Guests can look forward to multiple live performance stages, comedy showcases, gourmet dining experiences, themed parties, and immersive coastal entertainment throughout the weekend.
Earlier this year, the 2026 Friendship Cruise aboard the MSC Opera attracted thousands of music lovers from across South Africa. The experience featured standout performances from some of the country’s most celebrated entertainers, including DJ Fresh, DJ Ready D, Rowlene, and Tyrone Paulsen.
Comedy lovers were equally entertained with appearances from Mpho Popps, Yaaseen Barnes, and Kagiso Mokgadi, creating a vibrant atmosphere that carried from sunrise sessions to late-night dance floors.
What made the Friendship Cruise truly special was its ability to create unforgettable shared experiences. From sunset deck parties and nostalgic sing-alongs to intimate live performances and themed celebrations, the cruise became more than just a getaway — it evolved into a celebration of friendship, culture, and South African music.
Now, Durban takes centre stage for the first time as the official departure city for the Friendship Cruise, giving music fans from KwaZulu-Natal and beyond the opportunity to experience this highly curated escape closer to home.
Whether travelling with friends, family, or embarking on a solo adventure, the 2027 Friendship Cruise offers the perfect combination of luxury travel, entertainment, and connection on the open sea.
Early bookings are now officially open, and demand is expected to be high following the overwhelming success of previous editions.
Secure your cabin via and don’t miss the chance to be part of one of South Africa’s most exciting music experiences at sea.
