South African hip-hop continues to evolve, and one of its most exciting voices, Lowfeye, has officially stepped into a new chapter with the release of his long-awaited debut album, NOSANGE. As a co-founder of the Qwellers collective, Lowfeye has steadily built a reputation for shaping the sound and culture of a new generation.

Named in honor of his late mother, NOSANGE stands as a deeply personal and emotional body of work. The album reflects his journey, identity, and growth.
“With this project, I want to tell a story… where I come from and how I grew up into the person I am today,”.
he shared, signaling a project rooted in both vulnerability and strength
The tone of the album has already been introduced through standout singles like “Mission Man,” “Mabulala Amakhosi,” and “Trauma” featuring Ciniso. These tracks highlight his confident delivery while hinting at the introspective layers that define the full project.

Lowfeye’s rise has been nothing short of impressive. From earning a platinum plaque for his feature on “Typhoon” with Sjava, to appearing on major projects like Riky Rick’s Boss Zonke Forever and Emtee’s DIY 3 (Deluxe), he has consistently proven his versatility and relevance. His 2026 EP, Days Before Nosange, featuring Priddy Ugly and 25K, further built anticipation, racking up over 1.2 million streams.

Born Sibusiso Blessing Sibisi, Lowfeye’s sound blends hip-hop with Afro-soul and Afro-pop influences, reflecting his roots across Gauteng, the Eastern Cape, and Dundee in KwaZulu-Natal. Whether performing as a solo artist or under his alias Mabulala, he continues to push boundaries through authenticity and storytelling.

With NOSANGE, Lowfeye not only marks a major milestone in his career but also cements his position as a rising global African voice.
