PUMA x Daniëlle Cathari: Nature Meets Iconic Design

PUMA Taps Daniëlle Cathari for Nature-Rooted Collaboration

PUMA steps into a new creative chapter with its first collaboration alongside Dutch designer Daniëlle Cathari, delivering a tactile and imaginative reworking of two of the brand’s most beloved silhouettes—the Suede and the Speedcat. Rooted in nature and texture, the partnership blends playful materiality with subtle storytelling, offering a fresh perspective on timeless sneaker icons.

At the heart of the collection is a rich, fuzzy suede that envelops both styles, creating visual depth and a soft, sensory finish. This textural focus transforms the familiar forms of the Suede and Speedcat into pieces that feel both grounded and otherworldly, echoing the living micro-landscapes found beneath our feet.

Cathari’s design language draws inspiration from vibrant fungi and organic environments. Colourways reflect this vision, with the Suede arriving in a bold, cap-mushroom red, while the Speedcat adopts a muted dusty moss tone. Subtle debossed heel details resemble peering spider eyes—an artistic nod that also doubles as Cathari’s signature logo.

Each sneaker features interchangeable lacing options, allowing wearers to personalise their look while maintaining the collaboration’s earthy aesthetic. Tonal branding appears on the tongues, complemented by classic gum soles that ground the designs in heritage sport style.

The campaign imagery continues this soft, natural narrative, presenting the Suede and Speedcat in calm, textured surroundings where material and mood take centre stage.

PUMA x Daniëlle Cathari officially launched on 7 February 2026, available exclusively through Shelflife, marking a refined fusion of fashion, nature, and sneaker culture.
