Durban’s most stylish gathered in full force for the Hollywoodbets Durban July Raceday Fashion Experience, where flair met fierce competition on the Infield Pulse stage. The annual event, known as much for its high-octane horse races as for its dazzling displays of fashion, saw fashionistas pulling out all the stops in a bid to take home top honours.
From power couples in coordinated couture to solo showstoppers in timeless racewear and hats that defied gravity and convention, this year’s competition proved why Durban remains a fashion capital.
Contestants competed in four standout categories — Most Striking Couple, Classic Racewear – Female, Classic Racewear – Male, and Exceptional Raceday Hat or Fascinator. Each first-place winner walked away with R5 000 in cash and a R2 500 Gateway Theatre of Shopping gift card, making the stakes as high as the heels.
