South Africa’s Top Beaches Honoured in Corona’s Limited-Edition Bottle Collection
As Corona marks 100 years under the sun, the iconic beer brand is paying tribute to the places that have shaped its global beach-loving identity. In a bold and beautifully local celebration, Corona has unveiled a limited-edition bottle collection inspired by four of South Africa’s most breathtaking beach destinations—each proudly featured in the global Corona Beach 100.
The special-edition bottles honour Kraalbaai, Boulders Beach, Nature’s Valley, and Camps Bay—four shores that reflect the country’s extraordinary coastal diversity and deep-rooted lifestyle connection to the ocean. These beaches form part of a curated global guide recognising the world’s most iconic seaside destinations, officially launched this year on the sands of Copacabana in Brazil.
The Corona Beach 100 celebrates beaches where simplicity is a luxury and life moves to the natural rhythm of the ocean. South Africa’s inclusion is a powerful nod to its raw beauty, cultural pride, and the enduring allure of its coastline.
Each bottle tells a distinct coastal story. From the calm, crystal-clear waters of Kraalbaai in the West Coast National Park, to the penguin-filled coves of Boulders Beach; from the wild, forest-fringed escape of Nature’s Valley to the sun-soaked glamour of Camps Bay beneath the Twelve Apostles—every design captures a different expression of South Africa’s beachside soul.
Innovative by design, the bottles replace the word “Extra” in the classic Corona logo with the name of each featured beach, transforming them into bespoke collector’s items that reflect the personality and natural beauty of their locations.
“These bottles are a tribute to South Africa’s natural heritage. They’ve been designed specially to honour the beaches that define our lifestyle, and to commemorate 100 years of Corona’s connection to the beach—celebrating the places that invite us to pause, breathe, and reconnect.”
says Melanie Nicholson, Head of Brand, Corona South Africa
More than just packaging, the limited-edition bottles serve as a visual extension of the Corona Beach 100 campaign in South Africa—reminding us that when we reconnect with nature, we reconnect with ourselves.
After all, as Corona continues to prove, our beach side is our best side.
