Following his impactful run as one-half of the duo Ghost & Mosixty, Ghost Da Catalyst steps boldly into a new era—one defined by rhythm, reflection, and rediscovery. His latest single, “Lenyatso,” is not just a song but a statement: a soulful and emotional reintroduction to his artistry and vision as a solo act.
Translated from Setswana, Lenyatso means “contempt”—a powerful emotion that speaks to moments when a person or thing is considered beneath others. For Ghost Da Catalyst, this concept isn’t about bitterness or pain. Instead, it’s about transformation and perspective.
“In this case, our message is that of positivity. We’re urging each individual to respect and not look down on another, but also giving hope to those who have seemingly lost hope in life itself based on their current state of living.”

Blending introspection with amapiano’s infectious energy, Lenyatso embodies both emotional depth and dancefloor warmth. The track features the smooth, soulful vocals of Khalil Harrison and the unmistakable sound of Cooper SA, creating a sonic landscape that is both heartfelt and dynamic.
With its pulsating log drum rhythm, layered harmonies, and poignant lyrics, Lenyatso delivers more than music—it delivers meaning. It speaks to those rebuilding themselves, confronting judgment, and rediscovering self-worth. It’s a reminder that even from pain, beauty can emerge.
For Ghost Da Catalyst, Lenyatso represents rebirth—both personally and artistically. As he defines his voice beyond the duo that first introduced him to the music scene, this single serves as the first step in a journey grounded in authenticity, resilience, and emotional truth.
Through Lenyatso, Ghost Da Catalyst reminds us that every struggle holds purpose, and every person deserves respect. The single stands as a beacon of hope and self-empowerment, proving that from the depths of contempt, something profoundly beautiful can rise.
