Multi-Platinum artist Johan Sifiso Sithebe, better known as Da Mabusa, has teamed up once again with SoulQue and Sabza Womqulo to release their latest amapiano offering, “Uxolo.” The single follows the success of their collaborative hit “Indlela” and continues to showcase their unmatched storytelling ability.
“Uxolo” is a deeply emotional track that delves into the challenges of strained relationships caused by alcoholism, unemployment, and life’s hardships. The song carries a heartfelt message of apology and reconciliation, blending amapiano’s soulful elements with poignant lyricism that resonates with listeners on a personal level.
Da Mabusa’s journey from his early days in a local choir in Kwamhlanga, Mpumalanga, to becoming a multi-platinum selling independent artist has been nothing short of inspiring. After his breakout hit “Umama Owangizalayo” in 2022, he has continued to dominate the music scene with chart-topping singles, platinum records, and two successful 2024 albums — “Corrections” and “First Lesson.”
Now in 2025, Da Mabusa is keeping the momentum strong. With “Uxolo”, he and his collaborators have created a song that is not only musically captivating but also emotionally powerful — a reflection of real-life struggles, forgiveness, and hope.
