South Africa’s reigning Amapiano royalty, DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small — famously known as the Scorpion Kings — have launched Episode 1 of their four-part series “Meet Our Friends.” This series serves as a thrilling prelude to Scorpion Kings Live with Friends, set to take place on 29 August 2025 at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria, one of the most anticipated live music events of the year.
Known for revolutionizing the Amapiano scene through unity and collaboration, the Scorpion Kings are now inviting fans into their inner circle.
“We’ve built this movement with our friends — in the studio, in the streets, at shows. It only makes sense to share this stage with the same people who make this journey worthwhile. We want you to meet our friends the way we know them — as family, as the ones who help us make history.”
