Next up on Sondela Recordings, South African producer AVG steps into the spotlight with his compelling two-track release, Night League. More than just a sonic journey, this project is a heartfelt salute to the lifeblood of underground culture—those who live for the night: promoters, DJs, dancers, and crews who keep the pulse of nightlife thumping.
The title track, Night League (Extended Mix), is born from the spirit of spontaneous raves in forgotten corners—deserted warehouses, forest clearings, or remote beaches—where even the flashing lights of police sirens couldn’t break the rhythm. Packed with wild vocal chops, echoing sirens, and ambient crowd noise, the track captures that adrenaline-fueled edge of late-night euphoria. It’s a bold, immersive anthem designed to ignite underground dancefloors.
On the flip, Discover (Extended Mix) takes a more minimal yet equally potent route. With a “less is more” ethos, AVG keeps things stripped back but loaded with intention. A rugged bassline, sharp synth stabs, and his unmistakable percussive finesse combine to deliver a deeply addictive groove. It’s raw, honest, and built for true heads who crave authenticity.
Having already made waves with releases on Mahaba Music, curated by Kitty Amor, and a standout rework of Madala Kunene’s Konko Man, AVG continues to prove he’s one of the most exciting rising talents in the global house scene.
