Fred Everything Returns with Love, Care, Kindness & Dubs
Following the success of Love, Care, Kindness & Hope, deep house visionary Fred Everything is back with Love, Care, Kindness & Dubs, a fresh reinterpretation of his critically acclaimed 2023 album. Set for release on 07 March 2025, this collection brings together alternate versions, dubs, instrumentals, and previously unreleased material—offering a deeper dive into the sonic world of the original project.
A Journey Through Reimagined Soundscapes
The album kicks off with a futuristic deep Afro remix of “Asolee” by Atjazz, who crafts a hypnotic atmosphere using piano hooks, analog synth stabs, and rolling arpeggiators over a solid groove. Following this, we get an instrumental take on “Hope Is On The Horizon”, stripping the track down to its melodic essence.
One of the standout reinventions is “A Long Dub Coming,” a transformed version of “A Long Time Coming” featuring Sapele. This new mix raises the tempo significantly, bringing a double/half-time dub feel with rich layers of tape echo and spring reverb. Meanwhile, “Never” featuring Robert Owens (Alternate Version) explores a fresh rhythmic approach, emphasizing a 2-step groove and additional percussive textures.

Live Show Inspirations and Unreleased Gems
Several tracks on Love, Care, Kindness & Dubs were inspired by Fred Everything’s live performance at MUTEK festival in Montreal. These include a new arrangement of “Evening Ghost” and a dub version of “Moonrise”, both reworked for the stage before finding their way into this release.
Adding more depth to the album is “Something For You” (Instrumental) and an ethereal, beatless version of “Soul Love” featuring Stereo MC’s, providing a contemplative moment within the tracklist. Another hidden treasure, “Broken Flute Thing”, was written during the album sessions but didn’t make the final cut—now surfacing to add a fresh sonic layer to the collection.
A Perfect Companion to the Original Album
The album rounds off with a Lazy Dub of “Breathe” featuring James Alexander Bright, previously part of the original remix package, and two reprises: “Asolee” and “A Good Day”. These closing moments tie the project back to Love, Care, Kindness & Hope, making this release an essential companion for fans of Fred Everything’s immersive sound.
