Tumelo Mahloko, AKA The Principal, Releases Soulful EP “Mnandi Nice”

Hailing from Vosloorus in Johannesburg’s East Rand, The Principal has once again delivered a project filled with melodious synth keys, punchy basslines, and captivating drums. The Journey of The Principal
From his roots in the church to the studio, Tumelo Mahloko’s musical journey is a testament to passion and dedication. Learning to play the piano at a young age sparked his lifelong love for music. His first major break came when he joined a local band, but it wasn’t until meeting mentor Thabo Moleke (Fede-Inc) that he stepped into music production. Together, they released their debut dance single, “Moving On”, under The Cartel SA in 2018.
Since then, The Principal has worked with notable collaborators such as Charles T Music, releasing tracks like “Sunday Night” with Tobetsa Lamola and “All In Good” with Sphiwe Spitjosa Mk. His previous works established his reputation for creating soulful, danceable music, and “Mnandi Nice” solidifies his position as a rising star in the South African house music scene.
